What this website collects.
This notice covers hangarwms.com only. It does not cover the Hangar application itself, which is governed by the agreement with each customer. Last updated 2 August 2026.
The short version
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking pixels. We count page views without identifying you, and we keep what you type into a form for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry. That is the whole arrangement.
What we collect, and when
When you fill in a form
The contact and demo forms ask for your name, work email and company, and optionally a phone number and details about your warehouse. We use that information to reply to you and to prepare for a demo, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.
When you simply read the site
We record that a page was viewed, where the visit came from, and rough details of the browser and country. This is aggregate and cookieless, which is why this site has no cookie banner. It cannot be tied back to you and we make no attempt to do so.
Who processes it
We use a small number of third parties to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.
- Netlify
- Hosts the site and serves every page. Standard server logs, including IP address, user agent and the page requested.
- Formspree
- Receives contact and demo form submissions and emails them to us. Everything you type into a form, plus the page the form was submitted from.
- Umami Cloud
- Counts visits so we know which pages are worth keeping. Page path, referrer, country, browser and device type. No cookies and no cross-site identifier.
How long we keep it
Form submissions live in our email and in the Formspree account. We keep enquiries that go nowhere for twelve months and then delete them. Where an enquiry turns into a customer relationship, the records move into that relationship and are governed by the agreement covering it. Analytics data is aggregate from the moment it is collected and is retained by Umami under their own retention policy.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@hangarwms.com and we will deal with it within thirty days. If you would rather we did not count your visits at all, most browsers can block the analytics script, and blocking it changes nothing about how the site works.
Changes to this notice
If we add a service that handles your data, this page changes and the date at the top moves with it. There is no version of this notice that quietly stops being true.
